| YOUR POSITION: | Zickscapes International is a start up consulting firm focusing on all types of design projects in California and Europe. Since leaving the architectural firm (VTBS) Van Tilburg, Banvard & Soderbergh, AIA in February 2009 I am now going solo. |
| PROFESSIONAL HISTORY: | I am a licensed Architect and Landscape Architect in the state of California with 25 years of experience in Environmental Design, Urban Planning / Master Planning / Site Development, Mixed-Use and Urban Infill, Multi-Family Housing, Senior Living / Assited Living / Skilled Nursing, Education / Institutional Design and Custom Residential.. I have had the opportunity to work both as an Architect and Landscape Architect in Europe for over 10 years. After returning from overseas I worked with both Marriott International as Senior Project Manager for their Assisted Living Division as well as western region Director of Design for Marriott Vacation Club International. I have spent the last 7 years working as a Senior Project Manager with VTBS, a very talented group of Planners, Architects, and Interior Designers doing large Urban Infill / Mixed Use Projects thoughout southern California. I am a member of the American Institute of Architects. |
| FUTURE PROFESSIONAL GOALS: | I would like to continue building on my career as a consultant in all aspects of development whether it be in Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or Interiors. I now have the opportunity to use 25 years of experience and grow into other areas of my profession with the same commitment to sound envionmental quality and design. |
| PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: | I believe in networking and want to begin to develop a network with other professionals who work or are associated with the development of our environment. I want to connect with people in all areas of our built environment: from Architects, Landscape Architects, Engineers to corporations and companies developing environmentally responsible projects. I would like to reach out my services to hotels and resorts all over the world, to reach out to those entrepreneurs doing boutique hotels and spas. I would like to meet facilities directors doing school, hospital and institutional development. I would like to work together with developers, general contactors, commercial real estate brokers, property managers, real estate agents, contractors doing TI (tenant improvements) work in the goal of creating a more successful sustainable future.. I am passionate about creating an environment that we all can live in and enjoy. In essence I want to find those people who are the movers and shakers of creating a more sustainable future and be a part of their team. |
