| PROFESSIONAL HISTORY: |
My professional career spans 20+ years, while working in the corporate realm, i held several paraprofessional titles including Executive Assistant, Legal Secretary, Accountant, and Paralegal.. In my freelance years, I have worked with lawyers, CPA’s, financial advisors, real estate investors, and several non-profit organizations.
Some of the many responsibilities I have experience in include: dictation, transcription, legal research, real estate pre- and post-closing including title work, client and witness interviews, brainstorming on cases, case management, preparation of all types of legal documents including filing in the appropriate courts, office management including staffing and designing processes, event planning and coordination (in person and virtual), project management, budget proposals, newsletter preparation, power point presentation, grant writing, time and billing, computer training, calendar management, personal assistance, and bookkeeping.
I serve on the Steering Committee of the Virtual Assistance Chamber of Commerce and am a member of the Southeastern Virtual Assistance Group. |
| PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: |
I am looking to network with other Independent Professionals who simply are looking for more billable hours in their day. They are handling all of the "back end" tasks of running their practice and not having the time to concentrate on the income generating aspects. Types of professionals that could most benefit from my services would be Lawyers, Certified Public Accountants, Financial Planners, Coaches, and Consultants.
By networking I would like to build relationships with IT professionals, Web Designers, Graphic Artists, and Desktop Publishers to name a few, for referal purposes. It is important for me to have qualified professionals to refer my clients to for services that I do not offer. Establishing these types of relationships benefit my business as well as my clients.
